Struct rustc_middle::middle::region::FirstStatementIndex [−][src]
pub struct FirstStatementIndex {
private: u32,
}Expand description
Represents a subscope of block for a binding that is introduced
by block.stmts[first_statement_index]. Such subscopes represent
a suffix of the block. Note that each subscope does not include
the initializer expression, if any, for the statement indexed by
first_statement_index.
For example, given { let (a, b) = EXPR_1; let c = EXPR_2; ... }:
-
The subscope with
first_statement_index == 0is scope of bothaandb; it does not include EXPR_1, but does include everything after that firstlet. (If you want a scope that includes EXPR_1 as well, then do not useScope::Remainder, but instead anotherScopethat encompasses the whole block, e.g.,Scope::Node. -
The subscope with
first_statement_index == 1is scope ofc, and thus does not include EXPR_2, but covers the....

This method turns the parameters of a DepNodeConstructor into an opaque Fingerprint to be used in DepNode. Not all DepNodeParams support being turned into a Fingerprint (they don’t need to if the corresponding DepNode is anonymous). Read more
This method tries to recover the query key from the given DepNode,
something which is needed when forcing DepNodes during red-green
evaluation. The query system will only call this method if
fingerprint_style() is not FingerprintStyle::Opaque.
It is always valid to return None here, in which case incremental
compilation will treat the query as having changed instead of forcing it. Read more
Layout
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference’s “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
